Standard IVF cycle (oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer under anesthesia)
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a laboratory technique in which fertilization of an egg takes place outside the uterus. Standard IVF cycle is one of the most effective ways to treat infertility. The price of the procedure includes a schedule of the stimulation protocol, monitoring of the ovarian response during controlled ovarian stimulation, timing of egg (oocyte) retrieval, ultrasound guided egg retrieval under short-term anesthesia, search for cumulus ooocyte complexes in the obtained liquid, their preincubation, fertilization of eggs using the conventional insemination (addition of swim-up processed sperms to the eggs), egg cleaning, evaluation of egg fertilization, embryo culture until day 2-3 after fertilization in a conventional large-capacity incubator and the ultrasound guided transfer of the embryo or 2 embryos into the uterine cavity on the day 2 or 3 after fertilization.
