Ultrasound examination of fallopian tube patency (HyFoSy)

Ultrasound examination of fallopian tubes patency and the condition of uterine cavity. A thin catheter is inserted into the uterine cavity, through which an ultrasound-visible contrast agent is applied. The ultrasound image shows the shape of the uterine cavity, the penetration of the contrast agent into the fallopian tubes and the patency of the fallopian tubes.
